International Dog Day 2021

It’s time to celebrate all our furry babies in the best way possible. International Dog Day is a yearly event that is celebrated every 26th of August. This is to create awareness about animal rescue and to encourage the adoption of these animals. It is also to encourage dog ownership of all breeds to let all dogs live happily and have an abusive-free life.

We say dogs are man’s best friend, so why not celebrate it, right? Since the first celebration in 2004, National Dog Day has grown and is now celebrated across the world.

Each year, millions of dogs become homeless because they are unwanted, or their owners are unable to care for them anymore. National Dog Day aims to encourage people to adopt dogs from shelters and give them a loving and caring home.

Spoil you fur baby

If you have a fur baby already this is the perfect day to spoil them.

Spoil them but not only for today, spoil them every day. Or maybe put in extra effort for today and throw a party for them. Give them special treats or maybe buy them a gift like a Pet Buddy Tracker. In that way, you worry less when you’re not around them.

Help a shelter

Every animal shelter and rescue organization have bills to pay. Any amount of help you can give will be a big blessing to them. They need towels, toys, and other supplies so it’s not only by donating monetarily, but you can also give them some of these supplies.  Help them by being a volunteer, you can help make life better for animals in your community by volunteering with your local shelter.

NOTE:

Some of us would love to help, but sometimes we don’t have enough time or maybe money to spare, but that’s fine because there are a lot of other ways to help. You can maybe share it to social media. Social media accounts are all perfect ways to help advertise pets that need a home. Any kind of help will be so much appreciated! Happy International Dog Day to all our fur friends out there!
